Reflection:
We now live in a global society where most of us are connected by technology. Because of this, we have a responsibility to others who create materials that we use to continue our own learning and teaching efforts. We must respect their work and give them the proper citations. Everything we find online was created by someone somewhere. It is our job as teachers to use these tools responsibly and also relay the importance of respecting others property just as we would do offline. The artifacts below would allow us to trade information legally (Thinglink and Scoop.it), present students and parents with appropriate guidelines for online ethics and etiquette (Google docs), and present material concerning our global responsibilities (Google docs and Google slides).

Future Learning Goals:
I hope to better understand copyright laws so that I am only using information and sources that I am legally entitled to use. I do not want to encroach on anyone else’s intellectual properties without proper permissions. I plan to continue learning the limitations on what can and cannot be used and I also want to teach my students that just because something is on the internet does not make it your property.
