Reflection:
It is the job of teachers to inspire their students and spark their desire to learn. This occurs by challenging students. These challenges include opportunities that engage them in learning and push them to take the time to truly understand what they are learning. One way of doing that is with a flipped classroom, as we have learned in this course. The following artifacts allow students to be engaged through fun (Quizzizz), collaboration (Padlet), visual stimulation and challenges (EdPuzzle), and simple memorization and familiarity with material (Google Slides and Google Docs). It is up to the teacher to do more than just regurgitate information, but rather we should be working to stimulate our students to actively learn material and expose them to real-life scenarios so they know why what they are learning is important.

Future Learning Goals:
In the future, I hope to continue finding new ways to engage my students in active learning to promote their excitement for the topics I’m teaching. I also hope to help them learn to work collaboratively with others by having discussion times and more group projects in the future so they can learn the importance of working as a team with their colleagues before going to work in the “real world.”
