Reflection:
Teachers must have some level of creativity when presenting materials to students, parents, and other people with which they may need to exchange information. By staying current and well-versed in new technologies, teachers can let their creativity be directed by new ways of presenting material. They can work with other teachers, students, and parents to learn the best ways to present this material. The use of new technologies can make the transfer of knowledge, communication, and evaluation easier on themselves and those interpreting what they are presenting. The following artifacts help teachers achieve these goals in different ways. Surveys allow teachers to collect and quickly sort through large amounts of feedback from different groups. EdPuzzle is a great tool for teachers to use when presenting information and then immediately testing the student to see if they understood what they heard. Teachers and students can both get immediate feedback and know what is missing, what needs to be reiterated in a different way, or what the students already understand. Thinglink opens the door for students and others to continue their own research into extra information or fun facts about lessons. Scoop.it gives allows teachers to convey current materials such as articles and learning tools to students, parents, and colleagues that encourage them to research more on their own and collaboratively.

Future Learning Goals:
In the future I hope to utilize new technology in a way that continues to engage my students and fully communicate the information I’m trying to pass on to them, their parents, and other colleagues. I hope to find the most efficient ways of opening the doors for research and information exchange between myself and others, both from me to them, and from them back to me. I want to continue to research and learn just as I expect them to do.
